We’ve been approached by the Friends of Nant Mill with advance notice of an event they will be hosting at Nant Mill on 26 September, featuring a duck race and other attractions. The day will be centred on the filming on the Clywedog Valley Trail of an episode of Weather Man Walking, featuring Derek Brockway, the TV weather presenter. Volunteers will be needed, and more details can be found here:

As one of the organisations which promote and support the trail, Minera Community Council has a keen interest in the positive publicity being generated by this event, and will be actively engaged on the day.
