Presentation evening – potential new national park and We Mind the Gap

We set aside the first Thursday evening of each month for possible Projects Meetings, where we look at ideas which might benefit from the Community Council’s support, or which could be of wider public interest.

We have decided to make our next such meeting, on 2 November at 7.30pm at the Tyn y Capel, a public event as we have two very interesting speakers who both deserve a wider audience than just Minera Community Council.

Howard Sutcliffe of the Dee Valley and Clwydian Hills AONB will be giving the AONB’s perspective on how a proposed new national park covering the AONB’s territory might work, and Julie Done of local charity We Mind the Gap will make a presentation on their work.

We hope to have a good turnout, please join us if you can for what should be a very informative evening
