Happy New Year to all our residents and their families, and here are two pieces of good news to pass on already.

We have installed a picnic bench on the newly-landscaped area by the New Brighton telephone box which we hope will become a valued asset to both residents and passing walkers alike. Many thanks to Councillor Will Ollerhead and his friends for building the bench and siting it over the Christmas holiday.

We also now have the cabinet installed at the Tyn y Capel for our latest community defibrillator. We can now request delivery of the device from Welsh Ambulance Service, and we’ll let everyone know when it’s been installed, and when the training sessions will be running at the Tyn for anyone interested in learning some valuable and potentially life-saving CPR skills. We are very grateful to Mike and his team at the Tyn who have championed the installation of a defibrillator at the pub and made our job of sourcing the device that much easier.
