The Chair of Minera Community Council, Councillor Hazel Field, together with all members and employees of Minera Community Council is deeply saddened to learn of the death today of our Queen. Our sadness at this time is shared by people across the globe, as we remember with affection and gratitude the lifetime of service given by our longest-serving monarch.

A book of condolence will be placed in St Mary’s Church. This book will be opened on Friday 9 September to receive contributions from residents of the Minera Ward, and will remain open until the day following the state funeral of Her Majesty.
