Here’s something a little different which has arrived in our inbox this week.

In-Person Public Genomics Café

Wellbeing Hub, Chester Street, Wrexham LL13 8BG

Wednesday 2 August 2023 | 10.30am – 12pm

Are you affected by a rare or genetic condition? Are you a member of the public interested in finding out more about genomics and health?

Join us for a Public Genomics Café! The cafe will feature relaxed talks from guest speakers on:

  • Meet the Genomic Counsellor: find out about what they do and the work of the All Wales Medical Genomics Service (AWMGS) Dr Verity Leach, AWMGS
  • Same But Different Ceridwen Hughes
  • Experiences from the Genomics Partnership Wales Public & Patient Sounding Board Member of Genomics Partnership Wales Sounding Board

The Café will be a relaxed, informal opportunity to meet others and find out about new advances in the area of genomic medicine in Wales. It will also be a chance for people to come together, be supported by others in their communities and let us know how we can better support those affected by rare or genetic conditions.

Join us for a cuppa! All welcome – FREE to attend.
