Here are two notices relating to vacancies for Councillors to serve Minera Community Council.
The notice of co-option relates to a vacancy first notified in November 2023. As we did not receive sufficient interest to call an election to fill this vacancy we will now proceed to co-opt a candidate to serve as Community Councillor. Please get in touch as directed by the notice if you are interested.
The notice of vacancy relates to two further vacancies which arose in January due to the sad death of Councillor Nigel Jones and the resignation of our Chair, Councillor Hazel Field. As this notice makes clear, a further opportunity to demand an election is now ‘in play’ together with details of how to register such an interest.
