The National Conversation on the Future of Wales’ Natural Environment Has Started

Last week, there was an announcement about Nature and Us: a Wales-wide conversation about the future of our natural environment, facilitated by Natural Resources Wales in collaboration with the Welsh Government. Nature and Us involves the people of Wales to develop a shared vision for our natural environment, considering the changes we need to make leading up to 2030 and 2050, as individuals and as a country.

Today, Nature and Us has started and over the next 10 weeks, anyone in Wales can get involved and have their say at

There are lots of ways people can get involved: completing a Nature and Us survey, taking part in one of our online events or volunteering for a focus group. Most of this is online at but there is help for those who find accessing the internet a bit more difficult.

We’ve already shared with you a link to the Nature and Us Stakeholder Toolkit and, from today, these materials can be shared freely and publicly to help more people get involved.

Thank you in advance for any support you can provide to Nature and Us, we look forward to hear what you have to say!
